Olivia van Schaik

Olivia returned to her home town of Invercargill in 2021 and has joined the team at Windsor Physio. Olivia graduated from University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2012. Over the past 13 years Olivia has worked in a variety of different physiotherapy fields in Otago, the UK and the Bay of Plenty.

Olivia strives to deliver a comfortable and friendly experience, whilst helping clients achieve their own personal goals. Olivia enjoys treating all musculoskeletal injuries including sporting injuries, being an ex Southland netballer and volleyball representative herself. Olivia is qualified in dry needling and is also highly experienced in the physiotherapy management of osteoarthritis.

Olivia is our Pilates Studio Manager and is Polestar pilates trained. She can be found daily in our Studio teaching Beginner and Intermediate level Reformer pilates group classes.

Olivia is also a certified PINC Cancer Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. She is passionate about working in this field and is dedicated to improving the strength, quality of life and sense of wellbeing of women diagnosed with cancer. She also is a Targeted Cancer Rehabilitation class instructor and ‘NEXT Steps’ class Instructor for our PINC & STEEL patients in a group setting.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring the great outdoors. She doesn’t pass up a great book either!
